An at home newborn shoot for a little man just under 3 weeks.
I love all my work. I feel so privileged to be allowed to capture family memories, particularly when I’m invited to such an exciting time of someone’s life, such as the birth of a new small person. You will often find me saying over on my instagram page that it’s the best job in the world.

Sam got in touch when I replied to a facebook post looking for a local newborn photographer. What had attracted her to me initially was the fact that I offered casual and relaxed at-home newborn sessions. These sessions have been something that I have offered for many years and I just adore them. Documenting new families in their own home is magical as everyone is immediately super relaxed, it’s wonderful to capture the close relationship between new parents and their baby. Babies change so fast, literally by the week, so it’s really lovely to capture these early memories.
Having recently had some training on more styled newborn photography, which allows me to offer an additional type of newborn photography (please click here), I am now able to bring this to my lifestyle shoots and offered Sam some styled baby pictures too. A large bed and some window light is great, and I brought along some of my studio stuff.
I was able to capture some lovely images of their little man on his own, before taking more documentary style images of the whole family and separate pictures of Mum and Dad with their new baby.
If you’re interested in an at-home newborn shoot, then please click here for more information, including the pricing of these sessions. If styled newborn photography is more what you are after then please click here.

Thank you!
