This image was taken by my then, 11 year old son. This image was taken by my then, 11 year old son. I had coaxed my boys out of bed at just gone 6am, having seen this beautiful, now iconic, blossom avenue in Greenwich and I wanted to get them there when it was quiet. When we arrived, there was just one other photographer, taking photographs. The boys did really well, I took lots of shots, and then I gave the camera to Ollie, my eldest boy. See how, when you look really closely, Jackson is holding some blossom just under my neck? Maybe he was doing the buttercup thing to see if it reflected. I have almost no photographs of me with my boys, what I do have is super precious, and its exactly why I do what I do. This is what I capture when you book sessions with me. Often you may wonder what on earth I am doing, while I encourage you to just talk between yourselves, or pretend I am not there (easier said than done) but its these in between moments that I look for, and that you will treasure for years to come. I am taking bookings from June for full family shoots, details of which can be found here (website being rewritten so excuse that it is a bit muddled!!) link in my bio and my studio is open Monday/Wednesday and Friday for newborn/sitter and cake smash shoots, so please do get in touch to book in. please could I get some help with describing my ca please could I get some help with describing my cake smash style. Words that spring to my mind are "natural" "understated" "minimalistic" "neutral" but none of these seem to fit what I want to say. My ethos with these shoots is that your baby remains the sole focus of the shoot as these can often involve a lot of props - both of these styles are very popular but I want to find a word that describes what mine are as they are unusual in their styling.
