I first met Rachael, Home Interiors Writer, when she contacted me having seen my blog about renovating my family home. She was really interested to come and interview me about the works and the style of the new part of my home. I was delighted and the extra bonus was that, when she pitched to magazines, I could provide the photographs, so it was a bit of a win win for me, as I love having my images out there, printed in magazines and of course, it can lead to extra work. 

I had had my good friend Annika, from ig. interiors and design, help design some of the space, so her, Rachael and I met at mine for a cup of tea and a lovely, informal chat.

These things can take time so we left Rachael to pitch the idea of the magazine article to various home and interiors magazines.

The next time our paths crossed was when she needed updated imagery for her new web site and I was delighted to oblige. The shoot took place over two locations, one in my home showcasing the client face of her business and then in her home, to show her working at home.

Commercial branding shoots are really popular now and it’s great to show your client base the real you, you at home and you at work, doing the things you enjoy, be that sat at your desk, cooking the family dinner or walking the dog.
