Documentary lifestyle session for siblings aged 3 and 11 months

Sunday morning, the day the clocks sprung forward, saw me meeting this wonderful family from Greenwich. I was very excited to meet this lovely family and take some documentary, lifestyle shots for them. We arranged to meet early, which is always the best time of day for little ones, and started of at home.

Having introduced myself to the children, I started by asking them to show me some of their toys. The children interacted beautifully together and you could see their strong bond shine through! They soon wanted to read  me one of their favourite books, and when Dad joined in, the giggles filled the room! I enjoyed capturing the family together at home, and some beautiful pictures of both Dad and Mum separately with the children, pictures playing, reading and feeding baby W.  After an hour at home, we all put on our coats, and headed over to the park.

I love London – this is no secret! – the streets just make the best pictures! Greenwich park is beautiful, and we spent about an hour walking slowly up to the Observatory, stopping on the way to take pictures as we went. One of my favourite family pictures has the London sky line in the background too. Little M had brought her scooter along, and I was able to capture some fun shots of her on this too!

As we headed back home, I had thoroughly enjoyed meeting this family and getting to know them a little, over the course of our shoot.

My signature lifestyle/documentary sessions are very popular. One of the best things about these, is the fact that I am able to capture memories of the children enjoying the family home. They grow up so fast, its hard to remember their favourite toy, their favourite spot to sit – a bike they play with or their scooter. The children also benefit from being in familiar surroundings as they get to know me a little better, and I always find they relax around me very quickly.

I have a few weekend sessions left this side of the school summer holidays, so please do get in touch if you would like to find out more. Its also worth bearing in mind, my school hour, week day sessions are half price, so why not take advantage of your “lunch hour” when working from home!!

Thanks Nina x
