A wonderful outdoor photoshoot for siblings at Lesnes Abbey ruins, Bexley

It was the second shoot of the day for me! Having spent the morning with a wonderful family with 3 littlies, I later in the day, headed over to meet 3 more lovely children at Lesnes Abbey Ruins, Abbey Wood, Bexley. The weather had been kind to us today, having been preceded by the most awful rain in the previous week, and it was so nice to see a little bit of blue sky. The fact it was overcast didn’t matter one bit, (in fact for photographers this is actually a plus!), and I met this wonderful bunch of 3 and their dad late afternoon.

The photoshoot was actually a surprise for Mum’s upcoming birthday. I do love it when Dads contact me to book a surprise shoot for their other halves, I know exactly how precious pictures of their children are to Mum, its a really thoughtful and wonderful present to buy – gift vouchers are now available to buy online on my web site so no excuse!!!

We started of our shoot, at a certain little stair case I love there. I often say to the children, just talk among yourselves a minute, look away, and then start snapping!  A great way to get some lovely candid shots and get the children to really relax around me. We took individual portraits, as well as pictures of all 3 together. One of my favourites from this shoot, reminds me of the Abbey Road Beetles album cover.  There is no zebra crossing involved but I think you’ll see what I mean!

This was one of my mini shoots, and we spent about 30 minutes, (well maybe a little longer as I always get carried away!) taking a casual walk around the ruins, with me taking pictures as we went. These 3 were great, and their close relationship shone through – now that Mum’s had her pictures, she is delighted with the results and now just needs to frame them and get them on the wall!

Thanks you 3 – you were great and made my job very easy! Till next time…….

If you wish to book a session with me, mini shoots are available at certain times in the year in Bexley and Sevenoaks.  My next sessions are Bluebells but these are pretty much fully booked. After this I have some Fathers day Mini shoots coming up on May 29th and 39th, Lavender sessions in Shoreham will be evenings in Late July, then my very popular back to school mini sessions are late August/ Early September. As the year draws to a close, ill be holding Autumn minis in mid- late October and finally I will offer my pre Christmas shoots, up in London, most likely on the Southbank again. To get first “dibs” on booking any of the above, just get in touch via the contact button on my web site, email or facebook with your email address and ill add you to the relevant list

Thankyou!

Nina
