Parker & Me commercial shoot AW18 collection
I was delighted when Kathryn contacted me to shoot her newly launched AW18 baby and children’s wear collection for her “Parker & Me” clothing brand. Kathryn had been working hard on a new concept, and a collection that centred around five woodland animals, that would adorn these wonderful new clothes.
The five characters – Finley Fox, Barnaby Badger, Heidi Hedgehog and Bella and Bramble Bunny – were all named by Kathryn’s Instagram community and they add a real and unique twist to this collection of their exclusive luxury brand.
Kathryn wanted to have her shoot in Oxleas Wood, a lovely woodland area on Shooters Hill, Southeast London. When we first met, we went for a walk, (along with her adorable dog Parker of course!) to find the best location for the shoot. We had to find somewhere where the light was right but also somewhere that had lovely paths and a wooden bench which would come in very handy. Kathryn booked four models for the shoot and we discussed at length how the shoot would run; thinking about how the children would get changed and the kind of props that we needed for the day. We came up with a shoot list to make sure I could work as quickly as possible and not miss anything. Kathryn wanted a very natural approach to her shots, showing the children playing and enjoying themselves and with the help of our perfect models, we hit the brief perfectly.
The day of the shoot went really smoothly and in around an hour, we managed to get a full set of images showcasing her new range. The range is for babies and children and includes super soft dungarees, onesies and long sleeved tee’s, all embroided with a choice of woodland animal.
I really enjoy working with commercial clients and I work on an hourly rate, delivering images in two sizes; one for your social channels and one for printing. I’m always on hand to give pre-shoot advice and to make sure you get the most from your time on the day (keeping costs down). Professional images to showcase your brand will make a massive difference and I will always take some headshots for you too in my signature black and white, casual style (if there is time of course!)
I’ll leave you with Kathryn’s review of how she found working with me and don’t forget to check out her new collection!

“I was recommended to 3Boys & Me Photography (Nina) through Facebook and from the offset, Nina was professional and prompt with everything. I needed a photo shoot to showcase my new range of clothing for my business and Nina filled me with confidence that she knew exactly what she was doing when it came to this kind of shoot. Nina was more than attentive to my needs and even met with me to walk through where the shoot would take place (in the woods) as the lighting needed to be just right!
She sent me shoot information and helped me so much with styling the children. She completely understood my vibe for the shoot.
Nina even borrowed a prop for the shoot from a friend and brought along with her grey blankets from her house. Nothing was too much trouble! I even called her in a panic to rearrange because of a delivery problem and she was just so understanding and sorted it out so we could meet a couple of weeks later!
On the day, Nina was patient with all the children and was obviously conscious of timings for them and of them being cold in-between shots!
When the photos came and they just blew my mind!
She brought my ideas to life and I am super excited to launch the clothing range out into the world for everyone to see! Thank you so much Nina for your hard work and amazing photography skills. I can’t wait to work with you again in the near future”.
