Studio reopening 7th September for sitters and cake smash sessions!
Its It’s been a while, since early March when I (unknowingly) had my last session in my studio – a set of beautiful twins that had been booked in for one of my sitter sessions. Back then, when I gave them both a little cuddle as they said goodbye, I had no idea that this would be the last shoot in my studio for 6 months and certainly the last time I would be able to cuddle any of my little clients for the foreseeable future.
My studio reopened for older children, adults and commercial shoots back in early July, but I always wanted to take my time as I adjusted to the new normal, to check how things would work out in our new COVID-19 world.
One of the big things in this decision was the end of home schooling and working from home (other than me of course!) This now means that I can reopen, but things won’t be exactly how they were. I still won’t be offering newborn shoots in my studio right now, but soon I’ll be offering my at-home newborn sessions, where space allows.
What is changing?
For my younger guests, I will now only offer a maximum of two sessions a week, with 3 days between those sessions. This is an added precaution to the new cleaning regime in place. I have always been meticulous with cleaning but will now ensure that everything has been sterilised with Milton anti bacterial spray, including wooden toys, flooring and anything you will come into contact with.
You will enter straight into my studio, round the side of my house to limit coming through my home.
The floor will be taped with 2 metre marks, so that we can maintain a social distance for the shoot. I will need you to be lots more hands on with your little one to ensure I do not break social distancing.
Anything I do have to handle during the shoot will be done wearing disposable gloves. Some things will need to be touched by me, for example, the tin bath in the cake smash session.
I am now well used to working this way, having had the busiest month ever with head shots and commercial shoots in my studio. It actually won’t feel too much different for you all.
I will continue to offer my cake smash sessions outside if you prefer and all newborn sessions will continue to be offered outside too.
To book, please just get in touch at: nina@3boysandmephotography.co.uk Examples of my sitter sessions and my cake smash sessions can be found on my studio page and more examples are included in this post and on my instagram feed.
