Newborn Family photography Sevenoaks – at home sessions
One of my favourite sessions has to be when I get invited to your family home to photograph your precious new family addition! When your newborn comes home there is nothing quite like that feeling! It’s just so wonderful to be part of your journey, right at the outset, capturing those precious, first family memories in a photoshoot tailored specifically for you.
With your at-home newborn shoot, things can be a bit more flexible with regards to the age of your baby. If you come to my studio I do need you to visit when your baby is between 10-21 days old, but with your at-home session, apart from the fact I never recommend I visit you before 10 days, your photographs can be taken at any time that suits you. The earlier the better, if you are looking to capture the really early days that do change so fast, but it’s completely flexible.
My at-home sessions are totally tailored to you. I visit your home and spend at least the first hour photographing here. This gives me plenty of time to get photographs of your newborn alone or with a sibling, if this is not your first baby, and images of you all as a family. I bring blankets along, and if your baby is sleeping, I am more than happy to try to capture some of my studio style images – advice on these sessions is always given before the shoot to give you the best chance at these images if they are what you are looking for. Should you have older children and want to head outdoors, we go to your favourite place, capturing a mixture of indoor and outdoor shots. Children relax in their own environment more quickly, the results of which you can see in your images.
I do like to get you pencilled into my diary, so after you’ve had your 20 week scan, please do get in touch so that we can get some dates in my diary. I have a half-price week day/term time shoot fee, perfect for if you partner is on parental leave. Image packages start at £199 and I also offer a full wall art service to help you get your images framed and up on your walls. For more information on pricing please click here
For now, I will leave you with some images from a recent session along with some comments from a past client.
“We have had the most amazing morning having our family photo shoot with the wonderful Nina. We used Nina to photograph us all when our son was first born and she always makes us feel so relaxed when having our photos taken and they are so natural which I have always preferred. Thank you again Nina for our gorgeous photos, I am so chuffed with them and I cannot wait to get them printed and up around the house!!
