Welcome! I am Nina, a lifestyle photographer covering London and Kent.

Lavender is with us for only the shortest time, and I am one of the most established photographers shooting at Castle Farm, Shoreham, Kent. When the lavender is in bloom, I run evening mini shoots and can also be booked for bespoke family and extended family sessions.

My photography style focuses on family connections, and I am booked by families who want to capture authentic and candid images, just as they are. Tickles, smiles, running, walking, and children taking everything in — the result is a wonderful set of stunning images in the beautiful Kent lavender fields.

Mini sessions are short, 25-minute shoots at a fixed cost, with 3 digital images included. Families are shown a gallery of 23 photographs and have the opportunity to purchase additional photos, framing for the family home, or print collections often gifted to grandparents and family members.

HOW IT WORKS

My sessions are always lots of fun! Mini shoots are quick sessions, and I always shoot in the evening to take advantage of the best light.

I am able to book my field space around May, and prior to this, I run a priority booking list, meaning you’ll hear the dates as soon as they are released. I offer around 12 mini shoots per year. I am always happy to discuss longer, bespoke family shoots, often booked for extended families, so please do get in touch to find out more. Well-behaved family dogs are also very welcome.

Families often comment on how relaxed they feel while being photographed by me. The result is a stunning set of images that will stay in your heart forever.

AFTER THE SESSION: YOUR IMAGES

All galleries are ready within 1-2 weeks, and at that point, I will be in touch to book your viewing appointment. With the lavender sessions, families often travel from far and wide, sometimes even from overseas, so I always offer a Zoom viewing if you are unable to visit my studio.

I pride myself on having a strict no hard-sell policy: I want you to love the entire process and leave your viewing with images you absolutely adore.

We were excited to have our photos taken by Nina in the lavender fields having been delighted with our previous shoots and pictures. Nina is fantastic with the kids and somehow manages to get them to cooperate in an efficient yet fun manner, producing some beautifully relaxed high quality images. I highly recommend working with Nina.

It’s the second photoshoot we had booked with Nina. The first was a lavender family shoot and we were so pleased with the photos we decided to book in with a family Christmas shoot. Once again Nina did not disappoint. Not only was she so amazing with conducting the shoot knowing how to get the most natural and gorgeous pics whilst entertaining the kids too (we had so much fun doing it!), the final photos were so lovely.

Amazing experience shooting with Nina in the lavender fields. She really took the time to understand what we wanted to achieve, and she captured exactly the kind of moments we were hoping for. She made us all feel comfortable on the shoot, and she managed to get the best of our young boys despite their rampaging around. Huge thanks, Nina!

I found Nina through a friend and wish I knew about her gorgeous work sooner. Nina was a dream to work with during a recent lavender shoot in Kent. Especially with a strong minded 18month year old in toe, that proved to be a little camera shy in the 40degree heat! (I kid you not). Nina and assistant Belle made my family feel relaxed and at ease throughout, and always had my daughters best interests at heart. Nina has a natural ability to put kids at ease and we are so happy we chose her to photograph our first family photoshoot. Along with our 5 year old, we have a determined 2 year old who enjoys doing things her way so I was nervous about how the mini Lavender shoot might turn out but Nina photographed our daughters beautifully and we are so happy with all the pictures. So much so it made me cry happy tears when viewing them at her lovely studio. Thank you Nina for creating such magic!

FAQ’S

My home studio is a relaxed space, decorated in white tones to suit my photography style. A relaxed space with chilled music, coffee, and a sofa to sit on and watch the photoshoot take place. Some shoots require more parental participation than others! but the feel is relaxed and informal.
Do you offer family studio shoots? During all studio shoots, I like to take the oppotunity to capture you as a family, in some, this is more involved than others. Newborn shoots I always like to get both parents to have a few shots taken with their baby. I do not offer full family shoots in my studio, unless the children are young, under 8’s as a general rule, and these shoots will focus on the children more than the whole family. For families with older children, I shoot outdoors or in my client’s homes, please see my family page for more details.
What if someone is ill on the day? As a mum myself, I know how little ones can suddenly become unwell. Please just let me know as soon as possible and we will reschedule your shoot
What should we wear? For all my shoots I have a series of shoot guides that include a paragraph on what to wear. What you wear makes a big difference to your shoot so clients find this advice super helpful.
