A fabulous summers evening family lifestyle shoot on London’s Southbank

This session had been booked well in advance and I had been looking forward to this one for ages! I love the Southbank, we often take the boys there and meet up with friends so I was delighted to be able to offer a family lifestyle shoot at London’s Southbank on a fabulous summer evening.

A quick train ride into town and I met up with this wonderful bunch, children O and L ages 12 and 11 had bundles of energy, were bundles of fun and really up for the photoshoot their Mum and Dad had booked.

We started of at Waterloo, taking in a few lovely back drops for group shots, my favourite being a glass green brick wall, and took a wander along the river. We stoped along the way to look at books, take in the scenery and buy an ice cream! The light was amazing, its my favourite type of light at my favourite time of day and resulted in some fabulous sunny portrait shots of the kids.

We took a couple of hours to wander round, taking in the London Eye, a park, The National Theatre, fairground rides, some fabulous Graffiti and just generally enjoying the evening with me taking photographs along the way.

The results speak for themselves, I was chuffed to be able to provide the family with lots of wonderful shots, both portraits and candid documentary style pictures of them all enjoying their summer evening on the Southbank.

I can’t wait to photograph you guys again soon, here we go……..
