Catching up – with another delayed share from my wonderful lavender sessions over in Shoreham this year. I was delighted to hire their beautiful lavender fields for portrait photography sessions, for the first time last year. I will most definitely be doing this again this year.

Sessions start at 5.30pm, and in July this is the best time of day to be photographing. My families all had an absolute blast running in the lavender fields, enjoying the evening sun and I was able to take lots of wonderful shots. We had the lighting I hanker after – all year round – beautiful rim lighting which meant I was able to capture back lit, hazy images that ive spent many years perfecting (thankfully! as these are challenging shooting conditions but ones I love!)

I think you’ll agree, when you see these images, how beautiful they are. All the families were delighted , lots purchasing full sets of digitals and many making feature walls of prints that they’d ordered from me.
