A rare opportunity to photograph my own boys

Mothers day is always met with one request by me. Having previously been able to capture the lot of you – during your younger years before you started to complain! I now have to grab these opportunities with both hands. When asked what I wanted for this special day, I didn’t make any requests for flowers, chocolates or even a tool kit (a story for another post!) but just asked that you 3 granted me half an hour of your precious time, to get some shots, by my favourite blossom are just down the street. A quick change of clothes (no I’m sorry tracksuit bottoms are not the look I’m after!!), and we all headed off, down the street.

You all willingly obliged, and I’m not joking! This is very unusual. You guys had quite a good time, after all I just asked you to hang around (or for that read – push each other over, chase each other with big sticks and jump up and down on a random pile of left over builders rubbish) while I snapped away. I did ask you to pose for a portrait or too and you all did really well, and possibly, just possibly enjoyed yourselves too!

Here they are, my boys, they are a whirlwind, each with totally different personalities, likes and dislikes. They give me sleepless nights, they give each other sleepless nights creeping into each others rooms at night but at the end of the day and when push comes to shove, they are a team. A team of boistrousness, that like to fight and argue but sometimes will happily curl up together and watch a film.
