This was my 4th year of shooting bluebells, and working with Riverhill Himalayan Gardens in Sevenoaks. I love working with these guys, they are so lovely and the gardens are just stunning. They are open from March through to late October/early November and an annual family pass is very good value. There is lots to do here for the whole family and don’t even get me started on the fabulous coffee shop, Otto’s, who many of you will already be familiar with. Sadly, COVID prevented any of these shoots taking place last year so it’s extra special to be back there this year, as lock down starts to lift and the world seems a new and exciting place.

Riverhill sessions are shot early in the day, but I have no shortage of families happy to meet me for that 8am session. The place is so quiet at this time of day, and we have exclusive access for the earliest sessions, which is perfect!

For 2021, I am offering 3 early mornings at Riverhill. These are Saturday and Sunday 24th and 25th April, and Saturday 1st May. Sessions will be 20 minutes long this year with the last session starting at 9.40am. Please note, for all sessions, (particularly for my 8am ones) you will need to arrive 10-15mins before your start time, to make the short walk up the hill into the wood.

I will be shooting one morning at Joydens Wood in Bexley. These sessions start at 9.30 and finish at lunchtime. This wood requires a 5-10 minute walk to our location, so please do bear this in mind when booking. The paths are substantial, in the main, until we start to venture into the wood, but this would not be recommended for anyone who has difficulties walking. Clients have previously brought their buggies for little ones without much difficulty.

On line booking is available here, availability is already limited so early booking is recommended. Sessions cost £100, include 3 digital images with more to purchase, should you wish, all delivered via an online viewing gallery of 33 images delivered several weeks after your shoot. There are special offer packages for digitals, the most popular of which is 15 extra images for £100 and this year, I’ll be showcasing and offering a special package to include one of my stunning frames. You’ll be able to view this at the shoot.
